1) From the Start Menu select All

2) You will be presented with the following screen
3) To add a service just type in the web site
address for the news service in the 'Web Site of Service to add' box and then
click 'Add Service'. This information can be found on the web site whose news
service you are wanting to link to, by default it is usually just the web sites
normal web address. For exampe to connect to the Silver River Software News
Service you would type in http://www.silverriversoftware.co.uk (see picture
below).
4) If the addition of the service is successful
it will appear in the monitored service box.
5) If you now click test service you will
receive a welcome message from the service to confirm it is working
6) We recommend you tick the box entitled
'Load at windows startup'. This will make sure the client is loaded each time
windows starts.
7) When you have finished adding news services
click 'Close this window' and the client will start monitoring the news
services
You can get back into the configuration screen either
through the startmenu or right clicking its icon in the system tray. If you
require extra help with the client press F1 for help, when the configuration
screen is showing. |
